Sterling Submersible Pumps are available in both a fabricated design (W series) in 304 and 316SS materials in 4” 6” 8” and 10” sizes and our cast submersible turbine pumps (TS series) are available in various construction materials including cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, 316 stainless steel, duplex SS 2205, super duplex SS 2507 and other corrosion resistant materials in 5” 6” 7” 8” 10” and 12” sizes suitable for 2 pole motors and with 4 pole motors we can offer diameters up to 24” and flows up to 2,400 m³/h.

Ballast Pumps & Inline Boosters

Our proven submersible pumps can be fitted into an inline shroud to be used to boost water pressure in municipal water supply lines or in a pipeline using minimal space with very low noise emissions.

Ballast Pumps utilise a submersible turbine pump with the submersible motor inverted and placed in a sleeve to allow the pump to have a suction point near the bottom of a wet sump, river or dam which has the water pumped over the motor to cool within the ballast housing and then up the column to the discharge point. A compact and efficient design.
