Sterling Pumps protects property and life with our standard and specially designed fire pumping systems that are available in a large selection of flow rates and construction materials to ensure a reliable and adequate water supply is available in a fire emergency. With pumps with flat curves for constant performance enabling them to be used in all fire applications including NFPA compliant projects. Fire Fighting pumps conform to AS 2941-2013, API 610 11th Ed, NFPA 20, FM/UL.
We can provide the full array of fire protection pumps including diesel engine driven pumps, electric driven pumps, electric fire jockey pumps, submersible and line shaft turbine pumps, containerised units, complete pump room solutions and complete skid mounted fire units.
Our Fire Duty Vertical Turbine VT series pumps can be staged as needed to meet specific pressure requirements with length and construction adaptable to meet your specifications. Standard construction offers the discharge head in cast iron with fabricated steel columns, cast iron or stainless steel shaft and head and bronze fitted bowls. These turbine pumps do not require priming with flows from 1,500 lpm up to 18,000 lpm and pressures to 240 MWC.
For other fire applications, we can offer our broad range of TS or W series Submersible pumps and motors, high volume split case L-LN-U series pumps coupled to diesel engines with industry recognised fire control panels or our versatile TK and TL series horizontal multistage pumps with multiple outlet ports for differing flow and head duties.
